The first step before waterproofing the shoe is cleaning the surface.

After removing the shoelaces (if present), make sure that the surface you are going to waterproof is clean and free from dust, dirt or oil stains. In order to do this, it is necessary to clean the surface of the upper and the edge that connects it to the sole carefully with a dry cloth or a brush.

The second step is the application of the waterproofing spray.

First shake the bottle well and spray the shoes keeping a distance of about 20 cm. The hand movement while using the spray must be continuous, this is important to avoid applying an excessive amount of product in some points of the shoe, creating dark halos.

Once the spray has been applied to the shoe (or fabric) to be waterproofed, you must let it dry for about 10 minutes in a well-ventilated area.
